非洲烏干達是世界最不發達國家之一，因連年內戰、愛滋病肆虐及錯誤政策，國家經濟遭受巨大困難，人類發展指數處於低水平。在全球疫情下，救助工作變得艱鉅，不少貧窮的烏干達人更缺乏基本的防護物資和食物，義務事工日常工作更具挑戰，極需要大家的關注和支援。
[關於Watoto] :
1984年， Watoto教堂於烏干達首都坎帕拉成立。「Watoto」在非洲斯華西里語，就是「孩子」的意思。目前 Watoto設立了3條兒童村，分別在烏干達的坎帕拉和古盧，目標是為孩子提供一切所需，讓他們的身體和心靈得到整全發展，走出破碎，過有目標和意義的生活。 Watoto兒童合唱團每年都會到世界各地巡迴演出，為非洲數以百萬因愛滋病、貧窮和戰爭而淪為孤兒的孩子發聲。還有Watoto「自給自足計劃」「社區發展計劃」協助當地婦女、青年和農民過上可持續生活。
